Best Practice: Use One Gmail Account for Google Sheets Access

We recommend using a single Gmail account when granting access to Google Sheets.
When you create an API or Connection, all data access and permissions are tied to the Google account you initially authorize. If you later switch to a different Gmail account, previously created connections may stop working because they no longer have the correct permissions to access your Google Sheets.
To avoid confusion and potential data disruption:
Always use the same Gmail account throughout your workflow
Avoid switching accounts unless absolutely necessary
Keep track of which account is connected to your Google Sheets
Don’t worry if you accidentally use the wrong account. You can simply reconnect using the original Gmail account and grant permission again. Once reconnected correctly, your connections will work as expected.
Staying consistent with one account helps ensure a smooth and reliable data syncing experience.
